sorry i havent updated in a while, ive been out of town for a week and then i was really busy when i came home

so anyways, i was in new jersey with family at teh beach. The beach there is actually alot nicer than most people think! but the water is pretty cold, it was about 60 all week. we boogie board ALOT tho. i was name the king of waves for my family. actually one time, i caught this one wave that was pretty big and managed to get up and surf on it for a couple of seconds! Also, the only female cousin i have brought a friend, she really wasnt that bad. kinda funny that i spent a week living with her and im probably never gonna see her again. o well. it was fun tho, until thursday when i got sick, i think i got like heat exhaustion or somethin, i got a really bad headache and upset stomach, but man i was out of it for a good 72 hours! and im not gonna go into much detail but i lost like 11 lbs since i got sick.

When i got home, my mom and stepdad left for CT so i was home alone until tonight, it was pretty cool once i felt better. but then scott kept on comin over and buggin me. i had the afternoon off today so i WAS gonna play my drumset for a good while then take a nice long nap, but then scott comes over with some random girl so i couldnt play my drum set (which really made me mad) so i just took a nap and decided to go to the afternoon swim practice. practice was ok, we did a bunch of kicking stuff, i hated that! but i got the coach back, i SOAKED her when i jumped in. WEll ill update more on July 4th and my situation with females probably a little later tonight if i get bored idk

Broke up with Sarah on Friday. I figure its for the best, we really didnt talk all too much and our personalities didnt seem to match up well.

Thursday night we had a meet against Coolemee. We won by like 400 or somethin like that. i had an interesting meet. When i was swimming 100 IM, i was about to finish my backstroke lap when i hit the "false-start rope". the ladies taht were holding on to it had it hanging too low and since my arms are kinda long i like pulled it down (but didnt mean to) and on my turn from fly to back, i got to close to the wall and said a profanity (shit) as i was turning, and there were a bunch of little kids cheering for me. i pretty much just said shit right in their faces!

feels like i pulled somethin in my right hamstring, it felt funny when i swam breast stroke (39 seconds in the 50m) YUCK! HORRIBLE!!

Today i worked 12 hours consecutively, i had training at the Y from 8-3 then work at BW from 3-8! but at brookwood, we had a party and they fed Amy and I! so that was pretty cool!

Tomorrow is fathers day but im working 2-7 so my dad is gonna get a late present, because I WILL sleep in tonight, i cant remember the last time i could sleep in

ok my dads was pretty fun this weekend. my step mom is on vacation and scott never showed up so it was just me and my dad. saturday we went out to lunch at fuddruckers and then we went to see a movie, Riddick. it was pretty good, a little confusing but o well. we watched a little of the mets game but they lost so we changed the channel and watched comedy central for a good while. We also went to barnes and noble and saw some pretty cool books there. We got this book for a friend of my dads thats movin back up north. he was cool. i talked to him a few times. Then Saturday night he went to a party so i just laid around the house and eventually went to bed. Sunday we just kinda stayed in a watched the Pelican Brief on tv. it was pretty good, but also confusing at times. and half the time i couldnt tell what was going on cause there were alot of dark scenes and there was a bad glare on the tv!

ya know, today was really boring nuthing really happend. Scott came by for some stuff yesterday cause hes moving out. He is officially a citizen of Guilford County! i went through soem of the stuff he left behind and took it for myself! hehe

Once again i am exhausted. i worked from 830-5 then i had a swim meet. we won! 483-400, somethin like that, it was against Oldtown. we went out to Sagebrush afterwards, i really wasnt very hungry but i got some cheese fries figuring i could reheat them for lunch tomorrow
but back to work, theres somethin wrong with the ventilation at the Y so it as FREAKIN HOT in tehre! my head was like covered in sweat when i got off to switch over to BW. but i have the day off tomorrow, i just hafta go in around 1030 to get O2 certified for like an hour and thats it! woohoo! then i gotta work out a little bit and NAP TIME!!!

Ok, so im workin 2 jobs this summer, one at BW and one at teh Y, both lifeguardin. i worked like all day today and man im exhausted! but thats ok cause im makin so much more money this year. i guess thats really it, too tired to type...

9:20pm: Party
I went to a party last week, it was fun. it was a pool party at my friends house for his birthday. Quite a few people there. we made this HUGE whirlpool in his pool, it was hilarious. but thats not the best part. i originally wasnt gonna go but i then went and a few select people, especially this one girl, seemed rather happy that i showed up. it was fun. a little annoying tho cause some of my friends kept pulling me aside and talkin to me. i ended up askin out Sarah and she said YES!!! yay! Then later on in the night, Aaron and I gave the best karaoke show ever!! it was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

6:05pm: PHYSICS!!!
I GOT A 93 ON MY PHYSICS EXAM! thats so awesome. i got like a solid C all year and i got an A on the final State exam!!!!!! score!!!! im a little afraid to find out what i got on my precal exam tho. i sucked at precal... oh yeah, and french was easy, haha!

on to swim practice, it was pretty cool. it was backstroke day (ugh) i hate backstroke. but it was only the second practice so we went easy. tomorrow might be hard tho, its breast stroke day, im a little worried on how my knee will do (for those of you who dont know, i injured my knee last winter swimming breast stroke and wasnt suppose to swim it for like 3 months.) wish me luck tomorrow!

man do i feel like a failure. i got turned down today. at first she was like sure. so i said "really?!" to which she replied "no". that really sucked.

my first swim team practice was today. the pool wasnt clean yet tho. so all we did was teh coaches talked to all of us. ofcourse i was in the back all by myself. man, did i feel liek an outcast. i can barely do anything right.

ive decided to cut down on my eating alot so i can finally lose weight and be happy with my image. maybe thatll be one less mark on the "what the hell is wrong with me" list.
Following up on that. i really dont get it. everyone says im funny, nice, smart, have a good sense of character. nice smile, pretty eyes. THEN WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH ME?! why dont girls like me?

I LOVE FRIDAY! FRIDAY IS AWESOME!! cept when you have nothing to do on Friday night. o well. we had section leader try outs today. i feel VERY confident that im gonna get section leader, to what degree, idk. maybe Alan will be the DRUMLINE CAPTAIN next year. muahaha. good times this afternoon!

Brittany and I had a good talk last night and i came to the conclusion that BRITTANY BECK IS FREAKIN AWESOME!!! SHES MY HERO!!! well maybe not my hero but she is freakin awesome and i love her!

HEY GUYS! sorry i havent updated in a while. ive been busy with alot. so much has happend.

Ok first of all. Drumline try outs were last friday. i was nervous as crap going in! i know i had been on for 2 years now but i still thought like i might not get it. well anyways, i went in and i messed up big time! when i came out of the audition i started punchin walls and crap. but afterwards when we were all done, i talked to some of the other people who tried out and we all kinda calmed ourselves down, had a few jokes and mellowed out. we didnt find out who made it until the following monday. but here are the results

its gonna be tough next year, were adding another set of tenors and another snare. ALOT of work to keep the music clean! But i get to boss around Andrew and Taylor since its their first year on tenor line. im going out for Co-captain of the Drumline. wish me luck. ill post it when i found out if i got it

Also, we had drum major try outs (student who conducts the band for you non-band geeks) and im happy to report that the 2004 season drum majors are Stacey Ayres and Yvette Hairston!!!! whoo hoo! they are both super cool!
